Lisa Burden

In 1986, Lisa Burden first began her career in automotive service when she started working in the business office of a large Acura dealership in Houston. After one year there she switched roles, and became a stay at home mom to 2 daughters, Amber & Destinee; up until 1999 when she and her husband, Bryan, took a leap of faith and opened their own independent Honda and Acura repair shop. Lisa was normally the first smiling face you'd see upon entering Burden Honda Care, and she without a doubt was the heart of the shop. Every customer was important, and her top priority. She took the time to talk to each person as if they were family - which they are!

In July 2013, Lisa and her family faced her diagnosis of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. It took seconds for Bryan and Lisa to make the bittersweet decision of selling the business to focus solely on her quality of life. To the heartbreak of many, Lisa passed away on October 30, 2014 after a year and 4 month fight. Lisa was a radiantly beautiful person, inside and out, and her strength and outlook on life is an inspiration to all that knew her. Her legacy lives on not only through her family, but through the shop and its devoted customers, whom she cared so much for.

In Loving Memory, Honor,
